WHY SELF-SUPPORTING?

When Christ called His disciples to follow Him, He offered them no flattering prospects in this life. He gave them no promise of gain or worldly honor, nor did they make any stipulation as to what they should receive… MH 479.3 So it was with the disciples previously called. When Jesus bade Peter and his companions follow Him, immediately they left their boats and nets. Some of these disciples had friends dependent on them for support; but when they received the Saviour’s invitation they did not hesitate and inquire, “How shall I live and sustain my family?” …MH 480.1 Today the Saviour calls us, as He called Matthew and John and Peter, to His work. If our hearts are touched by His love, the question of compensation will not be uppermost in our minds… MH 480.2

We COL Ministry, are fully persuaded that the Lord has called us in these end times to support the work of God through the world-wide Seventh-Day Adventists church to prepare a people for the Lord’s coming. Since 2016, we have engaged into this work and are ever grateful for the call to be self-supporting missionaries. Being a self-supporting ministry, we depend on our business and support of those willing to partner with us in advancing God’s kingdom here on earth as we wait for Him. We gladly appreciate any support from you dear reader. Be blessed as you partner with us in the noble course.

APPEAL FOR DONATION

I sometimes ponder about this great missionary, Paul, who sold everything he had and invested in the work of the Lord and then decided to make tents in order to reach out to his fellow men with the true gospel. How did it feel for Silas, Timothy etc. when Paul could work with them yet sustain them with food and other basic needs? Where are such missionaries today who can supply the wants of their fellow laborers yet still work with them in the mission field? Such thoughts have frequently overwhelmed my small mind, .

As we move forward the Lord is impressing upon us to do our best to see ourselves fully self-supporting. We have some ideas on how we can have a sustainable source of finances so that we reach out to many people and supply for our own wants. With this idea we plan to mentor more missionaries in the line of self support. The idea requires some amount of money to initialize it. If you are willing  and able to support us we request that you get in touch with us so that we can share the idea with you for more advises and support (prayers and finances)
